Who was the real villain in “Us?”
I watched “Us” last night.
Afterwards, I had a conversation with my brother on the topic of “who was controlling who?”
When the boy in the van yelled “It’s a trap!” Then, came out of the van and they walked backwards until one of the boys walked into the fire.
The game changed.
Why was one of the boy’s face burned?
Why was the other boy obsessed with the lighter?
Who was the bad guy?
Who was in control?
Who were we supposed to be rooting for?
Who were the real victims?
What was this saying about us?
Who is controlling who?
Who is the bad guy?
Who should we be rooting for?
If underground Lupita had been leading a rebellion the whole time. Doesn’t that mean it was a success?
What had above ground Lupita even been fighting for at all that whole time?
Who was the actual bad guy in any of this?
