Dear Kanye West, You Are Right About Mind-Control
But it’s not what you think…
In 2018 or 2021 (I'm not sure when I first wrote this article), Kanye West said a lot of things about mind control and the use of language, and I have to speak on it, because it really resonates with me.
Let me start off by saying that I understand that he is struggling with his bipolar diagnosis and I am writing this with the utmost sensitivity to his condition, but it seems to me that he is struggling with understanding a concept that I have thought hard and deeply about for quite some time, and my only intention is to share the conclusions I have come to regarding these topics.
In (a video which has since been deleted), Ye talks about his concerns about the media, censorship and mind control (along with a host of other attempts he believes have been made by various agencies to restrict his creativity and progress). As I watched it today, his words reminded me of a recent conversation I had with a loved one. In that conversation, we were talking about the language of American Christianity. In the conversation, this person was expressing some feeling of affection she felt towards God that comes from a gratitude that things could be worse. She said that there are people dying in the world from war, hunger, homelessness and she is fortunate.
